Outreach
Whether we call it "Love Wilmington", or "Servant Evangelism", DC is dedicated to being a church that actively and practically shares the message of God's redemptive love throughout Wilmington; no strings attached. These monthly events allow us to show our neighbors God's love in tangible ways. Over the past year, we have conducted numerous outreaches and touched hundreds of lives with the message of Christ's love. Whether it is through a free bottle of water on a hot summer day, a word of encouragement, or a humble act of service, we are attempting to change people's perceptions of Christianity - one person at a time. Scripture commands us to preach the message of Christ to every man, woman and child (Matthew 28:8). Love Wilmington is our attempt to do that in a way in which spiritual conversations are started and doors to people's hearts are opened.

- Children's Outreach in Hugh McRae Park
- Ice pop give-away at the UNCW Involvement Carnival
- Water bottle give away at River Fest
- Christmas candy cane give-away at Mayfaire Town Center
- Children's outreach visit to Britthaven Nursing Home
-Postage give-away at Wrightsville Beach post office
- Valentine candy giveaway at Walmart on Market Street
-Glow bracelet give-away in downtown entertainment district
- Water bottle give away at Wing Fling
- Business bathroom clean up at Landfall Shopping Center
- Azalea Festival give-aways (bottled water, hugs, prayer)
- Hot chocolate give-away at Best Buy on "Black Friday"
- Feeding the homeless at the Good Shepherd Shelter
