Children
"kidZone" is the weekly children's ministry of Destination Church. Each week, we help children learn about their faith in an exciting, interactive environment. At kidZone, we strive to:
- Encourage children to be passionate about loving God and loving others.
- Provide a safe and loving environment.
- Foster a passion for God’s word early in life.
- Let kids know they are important.
- Partner with families in helping their children experience a true and vibrant relationship with Christ.
We operate three separate zones:
Baby Zone (birth to walkers)
Toddler Zone (walkers to 3yr old)
Children’s Church Zone (4-10yrs old)
Parents will check in their child at the kidZone registration desk.
Each child will need to register (this is only done once unless information has changed).
(Procedure for Nursery & Toddler Zone)
The parent/guardian will be given a key ring with a number.
In addition each child will also be given a name tag.
The number on the ID tag will be displayed at the bottom of the screen in the theater in the event the child’s parent/guardian is needed.
No one other than the parents or other authorized adults will be allowed to pick up child from kidZone.
Wellness Policy:
If a child has displayed these symptoms within the last 24 hours, they should not be brought to kidZone:If any of these symptoms are displayed we will remove the child from kidZone and display their number on the screen for the parent to get them.
- Fever of 100 degrees or more
- Diarrhea
- Vomiting
- Runny Nose (green or yellow)
- Severe coughing
- Pink Eye
- Sore throat
